ProFoil
Use as insulation for stainless steel pipes in masonry chimneys. UL-listed insulation. Size is based on vent diameter. Necessary to insulate stainless steel Tubing to meet UL 1777 when proper clearances to chimney and framing are not possible. A 1″ clearance between the stainless steel liner and the inside wall of the masonry chimney and a 1″ clearance between the masonry and the frame of the house are required to comply with UL 1777. If you have none of these clearances, a ½” enclosure is required. If both clearances are available, no insulation is required. AluFoil and ProMesh tape required.
