These trims are specifically used as a decorative cover when firestopping a gas appliance. On vertical installations, they can be used as firestops if installed underneath. They can also be used as firestops on horizontal installations that do not require a wall firestop (i.e. an entirely non-combustible wall). The finishing ring (TR) is larger and round, and the finishing plate (TP) is smaller and square. Available in black only. EXCDELDirect trims include a rubber O-ring that seals the gap between the trim and the vent.
